Pirates Of The Carribean

Image
A man can make or break a movie. I finished watching pirates of the carribean -- the black pearl. And I am amazed by the different in feeling that I had when I watched the sequel... Johnny Deepp portrayal as Jack Sparrow is uncanny and unparalleled. His unorthodox acting as Jack Sparrow who ratters in rhymes; swing his bodies as if he is dancing. Jack starts out as an unorthordox hero who have been betrayed by his crew and now seek revenge on his first make Captain Barbossa and to take back his ship. Together, he enlist the help of Will Turner who had a childhood sweetheart Elizabeth Swann kidnapped by the crew. Although the plot is more linear now, however, this allows more screen time for both Captain Jack and Captain Barbossa and it is here, where we the audience will be able to see and feel more for the actors. (Rather than in the sequel) Also, the plot is much better here as as we move along, the plot unrivals itself. For instances, Captain Jack was supposed to have escaped from a...

Pirates Of The Carribean-- Dead Man Chest

Well... Frankly Speaking, I was not really impressed by the movie. Read on if you dare to read and continue to watch the movie... :P For me, this movie has a plot that is slightly thicker than water. Johnny Deep Performance as Jack Sparrow is not particularly memoriable. At times, I can feel that he is overdoing the acting... Being over 'cartoonist' and such (maybe just like me) But not very memorable. Also, there are no new twist to the plot. The plot basically follow a linear route of Jack Sparrow, escaping from Captain Davis. And in the midst he tries to gets back at Captain Davis by getting his heart, which is supposed to be locked away in a chest. Nothing new crop up and I was not particularly impressed with the plot. If you have a thin plot, it is more than likely that you should make up with superb special effects and such. Frankly speaking, the special effects fails to have an impact on me and such. I know that the giant tenacles of the sea monster 'cracker' do...

Lebanon & Isarel

As you all most probably knew, Israel troops are now entering Lebanon borders in a bit to chase out Hezbollah elements. Since July 12, with the kidnapping of two Israeli soldiers, the war in the middle east has escalated disproportionately. To date, more than 372 are Dead in Lebanon, and 34 in Israel. Everyone here knows that this is a humantiliarian crisis. The number of displaced people has grown to 600,000, and things are so bad that "Pakistan refugees are taking in Lebanon refugees" It is destressing to know that after experiencing the genocide themselves, the Israel are not emotionally aware of the pain of suffering of wars. Much more destressing is the number of innocent civilians who will ultimately have to pay the price for this war. Pray For Peace Ppl. For those who wants to have a further understanding of why this is happening I would recommend the following link: Dangerous Move and Lebanon Fate CHRONOLOGY-Events in Middle East
