Curse Of The Golden Flower.
I watch Curse Of The Golden Flower.
This film is actually a Zhang Yi Mou interpretation of the famous novel by Cao Yu : Lei Yu.
I would rate it as a rather decent show. But sometimes, I wonder if Mr Zhang has too much fantasies going on in his head. The Women in the shows show breasts. Lot's of it. It was almost as if the clothes just cover the nipples and the bottom portion of their breast. All the rests were revealed. Ok, maybe this would be good for some eye goggling, but frankly speaking, I wish he was a bit more subtle with the female costume. As seen in his interpretation / displays of the prelude to Beijing 2008 at the Athens 2004 games, the females there were also wearing mini-skirts. Sometimes, one would have to wonder if he is a serious film maker or someone who prefer to sell by exposing.

But however, I would say that this is the main flaw of an otherwise flawless film.
Anyway, in curse, their are major plots with delicious tantalising amounts of minor subplots. I would like to say that I was rather impressed by the black assassins who looks like they were from scary movies :P
Make a reappearance in curse
The Assassins however, were now equiped with spiderman powers and the ability to hang onto ceiling only to come down when the king takes off his clothes.
Not to mentioned the battle between the Silver Knights and Golden Warriors, They are a class act, even though it was relatively one sided :P And it would do good to reminds that past china have a very good cleaning system. They can clean up the blood in a matter of minutes. I can imagine a conversation like this
"Sai Kan Warriors, come, got people die liao"
SK W: ok.
Begin cleaning and return to Zzzz
"Sai Kan Warriors, Pai seh, can come another time? Got more people die. on the bridge."
Clean again and return to Zzzz
SK W: ... ok ok
"Sai Kan Warriors, can come again? Got more people die this time round. . . "
SK W: WTF OMFG, you think we so free ah? No need to sleep one is it? Want to die all die at the same time la how come gives us so much troubles?
Anyway, Stellar performances by the Cast ensures that this is a good show to catch. Not to mentioned to would most probably see more than enough gold than ever in this movie.

Anyway, the imperial family are at loggerheads with each others and they plot against one another. You will realised that the one who looks the least harmful is actually the most insidous one. And the King always act like he is a fair and just man. Actually, he just talk a lot of cock.

Anyway, see if you guys want to catch this movie, I would recommend it. I especially like the ending scene. . . Thought it is a good cinematic effects.
