Pirates Of The Carribean
A man can make or break a movie.
I finished watching pirates of the carribean -- the black pearl.
And I am amazed by the different in feeling that I had when I watched the sequel...
Johnny Deepp portrayal as Jack Sparrow is uncanny and unparalleled.
His unorthodox acting as Jack Sparrow who ratters in rhymes; swing his bodies as if he is dancing.
Jack starts out as an unorthordox hero who have been betrayed by his crew and now seek revenge on his first make Captain Barbossa and to take back his ship. Together, he enlist the help of Will Turner who had a childhood sweetheart Elizabeth Swann kidnapped by the crew.
Although the plot is more linear now, however, this allows more screen time for both Captain Jack and Captain Barbossa and it is here, where we the audience will be able to see and feel more for the actors. (Rather than in the sequel) Also, the plot is much better here as as we move along, the plot unrivals itself.
For instances, Captain Jack was supposed to have escaped from an island that he was marooned on by tying sea turtles to himself and swimming away. But in the end he gotten away because a ship docked on the island.

Oops... So the Truth is out
In fact, I believe that the nicest moment of the sequel "Dead Man Chest" was when Jack Sparrow was made 'God' of a tribe. This is where we really see some funny stuff as Jack try to waggles himself out from being eaten alive by trying to extinguish fire by blowing on them (Except that the fires were a foot high) and attempting to escaped only to be caught back.

I am god... I need food
Not too mentioned the more screen time that we get to see more of the lead female actress. In fact, in the sequel, Elizabeth time on the screen is repeatedly being shared equally with Will, not that I have to complained except for the fact that they are appearing in different scene.

1 hot chick
But overall, watching curse of the Black Pearl Redemmed this movie for me. Well... Perhaps it would be worthwhile to see the third installment of the movie. End Of The World :)

Dupe, I tot I am starring in that one...
