Quited My Job for good
Just a recall...
I told you guys that my job is 5 dollars per hour?
Well... That is b4 CPF.. lolx
So after CPF i am earning abt 4 dollars an hour. Hack. Just quit la...
But i worked 8 days for that company le.. Mitsu Soko....
Well, I is a mistatement, We would be a better statement. I and 2 other guys. We would have quit last week. But in the end we continue... Because one of use did not managed to work for 3 days. So we just work a bit more and earn some more money...
The 2 of them, yuhong and en hui, called cassandra, the agent in the morning to tell them that they want to quit. So Cassandra tell them to tell simon...
In the end, I told simon roughly in the afternoon and tell them to tell simon in the evening.
Well, I am not good at telling stories, so to cut this short, In the evening, We walk towards Simon Office and were discussing how to break the news to him.
Simon came out of the office and before we open our mouth,
He start saying, " Hey, there are 4 more guys coming tomorrow, I need you guys to lead a team each, just go and do the scanning no need to carry heavy loads, just be the team leader ...
blah blah blah...
You all can just rest after taking a pallet or 2 and then just relax 1 corner, that's all you ppl need to do... "
Well, he tried to ask me to stay back, but i sort of spread the word that I was leaving, by telling his staff and such.
In the end, I don really know... Obviously Cassandra must have called him and he know that we are leaving so that why he act like this... But in the end, dispite being a manager, he was at our mercy?
Well... tough job low pay... singaporeans don really like to do all these... I don really blame him that he tried to let us stay. He was quite nice to us all. Agreeing to our demands and such, but in the end. I tihnk the pay was the deciding factor. After working for 8 days, I earn a mess 200 the rest of the money go to my cpf.
I can get a better job out there and some more, my backs still hurts after carrying so much things. But in the end, all 3 of us are not staying back.
There were a few factors..
1) Firstly, 1 of the person who was working with us (a perm staff) was a bit attitube. He was a foreigners and then he show his attitute or wat, say need to clear 20 pallets by 5 pm... And ignore us.
Obviously, these tricks don work on us anymore. Come one, we been through ns, wat else have we not seen?
2) The work sucks? we go home with dirty clothing everyday... And it was heavy loads.
3) we don really want to work? I had a back problem. The other guy was down with flu and somemore the third guy was not that keen on this job.
Well... Maybe i pity simon a bit. But in the end, I don want to earn a messy 32 dollars a day for 8 hours.
