Fuk Up Personnel
Just As You Think That You Seen The Last Of Them...
As some of you people probably know that I had some problems finding modules information on my SEP destination. I had send numerous email to My Sep Destination and Such. But To no avail.
This is until Ruiz/JunHao recommended that I tried going to the IRO for assistance.
So what do I do?
Ok... This afternoon. I reached the IRO at 1330. So I ask the girl at the counter if I could seek such assistance...
Apparently they were on lunch break. So I went away, played gunbound for half an hour+ and come back.
Well, what was I informed of?
Hey, IRO is not in charged of such matters, can you please go to Yusok Ishak House where the OSA is there to find the module information.
Ever obedience, I went to YIH to OSA and explain the difficulties to the lady at the counter. The lady at the counter told me that no OSA don take care of it. OSA only take care of student accomodations in Tsing Hua. I was told to prefer to the IRO.
So I went back to the IRO again and tell the gal at the counter my difficulties again.
And... I was told by that GAL to instead refer to my department Head
YA RIGHT...
Now, I just happened to meet someone I know and then he was looking for Prof Quan. So i tot I might ask well ask the 'boss'. Sort of like figures. But I being a rather impatient guy, had second thoughts and went to find Dawn Chia.
Dawn Chia: IRO is in charge of it.
I:No, the gal at the counter say that they are not.
Dawn Chia: What the gal name?
I: Did not asked her that
Dawn -- Dailed the telephone on the desk and explained the situation to another person from the IRO. I was instructed to go to the IRO and look for the personnel in charge of my destination country by looking for the telephone list.
Now... You can imagine my blood is becoming to boil at this point. Just because of some person who did not know what does the IRO does... I need to Run all over NUS to find out my modules information. I even sms Jun Hao asking him if IRO is the place.
Well, Somehow, I managed to calm myself down and walk down to IRO. Asking instead for the list of telephone numbers.
Well... she made the call for me and then finally, after wasting so much time, I managed to find the library that IRO stores all the modules information.
I got half a mind to ask her name so ask to shoot a complain letter to IRO. But in the end decided against it...
Apparently she is just another NUS student working part time. I got the information by asking another part timer.
... Flexible Working Hours, 5 days a week, 8 dollars an hour.
OMG, every student dream job...
Well... Ya, Yes it is the university but please don slack too much people. You are paid for the job. Not paid for slacking. Please wake up the idea.
Oh ya...btw, Mr Fudge, she is an Indian I guess... Wonder if you are interested???
